We have a FREE couch available for someone in need—whether you’re getting back on your feet, starting over, or just need a place to relax.

Details:
• Approx. 7 ft long x 3 ft deep
• Comfy & sturdy — with visible wear and tear on the sides
• 🐾 Note: Donated from a home with a cat (for those with allergies)

Love takes the field this Valentine’s Day. ❤️

On Saturday, February 14, the NSF Bridge Initiative is hosting Love Bridge Kits | Valentine’s Special Edition, and this one is all about showing up for the people who need it most.

We’ll be packing and delivering Bridge Kits and donation boxes filled with care items like food, hygiene essentials, necessities, flowers, and small touches of love. These kits are designed to meet people where they are and remind them they matter.

On Valentine’s Day, while many people feel forgotten or alone, we’ll be out in neighborhoods across North Alabama, spending time with individuals in need, children, and the elderly, handing out these kits face to face. Not just dropping them off, but showing up, having conversations, and making sure people feel seen, loved, and cared for.

This is about community.
This is about compassion.
This is about love in action.

✨ How you can help:
We are currently accepting donations of care items, including:
• Non-perishable food
• Hygiene products (toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, deodorant, wipes, etc.)
• Socks, gloves, and basic necessities
• Flowers or small comfort items

If you know of specific individuals or neighborhoods that would benefit from a Love Bridge Kit, please reach out.
If you’d like to help pack kits or assist with deliveries, we would love to have you involved.

We depend heavily on community donations to reach as many people as possible and make the greatest impact. The November Saturdays Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and all donations are tax-deductible.

It was high school graduation. The gym was packed with parents holding flowers and cameras.
But for Marcus, a student in the foster system, the "Reserved for Family" section was usually a reminder of who he didn't have.
He walked onto the stage, expecting to see empty chairs.

But right there, in the front row, sat Mr. Henderson.
Mr. Henderson is the school janitor. For four years, he gave Marcus advice, shared his lunch, and asked about his grades when no one else did.

Today, Mr. Henderson wasn't wearing his grey uniform. He was wearing his Sunday best suit.
He was holding a handmade sign: "THAT'S MY BOY!"
When Marcus's name was called, Mr. Henderson cheered louder than anyone in the gym.

Marcus walked off stage and hugged the janitor, crying into his shoulder.
"I told you I'd be here," Henderson whispered.

Family isn't always DNA. It's the people who refuse to let you walk alone. 🎓❤️

Today, we’re launching the NSF Bridge Initiative, a year-round program of the November Saturdays Foundation.

The NSF Bridge Initiative exists to help close the gap between need and stability through practical support, care packages, and community-based outreach.

At the heart of this initiative are NSF Bridge Kits — thoughtfully assembled care packages designed to meet people where they are, in real life, during real moments. Not seasonal. Not occasional. Ongoing.

Bridge Kits are delivered wherever support is needed.
There are no geographic or demographic limits.

If you know someone who could benefit from support through the NSF Bridge Initiative, we encourage you to submit a request.

This initiative is about showing up with consistency, dignity, and care.

We’re excited to share a milestone that truly means so much to us.

The November Saturdays Foundation is now officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization by the federal government.

In simple terms, this allows us to accept tax-deductible donations, pursue funding opportunities, and continue growing our mission with the support and trust that comes with full federal recognition.

We’re deeply grateful for the support we’ve received along the way. We’re honored to continue this work and excited for what’s ahead.

Our website is officially LIVE!

We are so excited to finally have a home where our mission, our story, and our vision for the youth in our community can all live in one place.

You’ll now find a Request Support page on the site, a space where you can share when a child, a family, or even yourself needs help. No judgment. No barriers. Just support.

From equipment to mentorship to access to sports, we’re committed to making sure no kid sits out because of circumstance.
