Great reminder from The Mark White Show that grief is different for everyone.
Our Bereavement Support Group meets this evening at Athens Church of God from 5:30pm-6:30pm for anyone that is interested. ❤️

After my dad’s passing, it took a year of grief and some wise counsel, but I was able to turn my pain into purpose. If you are in that place, I want this to encourage you that it is possible.

Grief is different for everyone. In that difference, we even process it differently for different people. There is no time limit on grief and you need to adjust and process at your own pace. You can find constructive ways to move forward. I have, others have, and you can too.

💙 You have a choice in hospice care. 💙

When your family is facing a hospice decision, you may not realize just how much choice you actually have.

You can ask questions.
You can compare agencies.
You can learn about who they are, what they believe, and how they serve your community.

And you should!!!

Hospice is about so much more than medical care. It is about the people who will walk alongside your family during one of the most important and vulnerable times in your life.

So when the time comes, don’t be afraid to ask:

💙 Who is this hospice?
💙 What is their mission?
💙 Are they local?
💙 Are they nonprofit?
💙 How do they serve their community?
💙 What support will they provide for my family?
