Pommerschen Fiertag (Pommern Celebration Day) will be this Sunday, July 12, 2026 at the Berlin Center, 24310 Berlin Lane in Naugart. ALL ARE WELCOME to join us! You do not need to be a member! Check in starts at 11:30 am. Festivities kick off with a tour of our memorial and a homing pigeon release. Enjoy a picnic lunch - brats, kraut, hamburgers, beans, German potato salad and watermelon. (Cost of $20, kids $6). Enjoy an afternoon of fun- a people’s march, music concert, singing, our dance group and stein contest! Beverages
for purchase. This is an annual event- join us!

The Pommern Library will be open for research Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 9 am to 4pm. Volunteers will be on hand to assist visitors. There is no onsite internet connection at this time but a large collection of church records, maps and more are available.
The library is located at the Berlin Center, 243240 Berlin Lane, Athens, WI.

Berlin Center Pommern Library is open to the public for genealogy research this Saturday, May 9, 2026. if you are of German heritage in Marathon and Lincoln Counties this is a great place to research!

Take County L from K south of Merrill or north from Wausau. Go west until you see the Immigrant Marker sign. Turn left on Berlin Lane. Go south to the Berlin Center.
