The Athens Service Unit of the Salvation Army is run by volunteers from The Rotary Clubs, The Kiwanis Clubs, and The Lions Clubs. Don Wood is donating an office in his Collision Repair building. All the money we make in the Red Kettle Campaign stays in Athens and Meigs County for assistance to those who are struggling. Our budget this year is very slim, but we hope a successful kettle campaign this year will make enough money to meet the needs of the community next year.
