We had an incredibly busy and rewarding week here at SHP Limestone County last week!

First, to our volunteer delivery team for delivering more beds to sweet kids right here in Limestone County yesterday. Seeing these comfortable beds set up and ready for a good night's sleep makes all the hard work worth it!

We also had a fantastic time taking the Sleep in Heavenly Peace story to the Elkmont Health Fair this past Saturday. It was wonderful meeting so many of you who stopped by our booth to learn more about our mission, ask questions, and find out how to get involved.

Thank you to everyone who supports us in ensuring every child in our community has a warm, safe bed to rest in. We couldn't do this without our amazing volunteers and community members!

Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a volunteer and donor powered nonprofit with 400+ chapters (and growing). We lovingly hand build + deliver twin beds and bunks for kids ages 3-17, at no cost to families.

Small hands can make a huge impact! We want to extend a massive thank you to the students and leaders at Berea Early Learning Academy.

After hosting a Friday night lemonade stand on the Athens Square during the first Fridays After Five for the year, they presented SHP Limestone County with a check for $2,000!

We are so grateful for your hard work and generosity. These funds will go directly toward building, assembling, and delivering beds to children in our community. Thank you for helping us ensure that no kid sleeps on the floor in our town!

This is what dignity looks like. 💙🛏️

Last night, a child curled up on a makeshift pad on the floor, making the best of what they had. Tonight ✨ and every night going forward ✨ they'll climb into their very own bed, complete with a new mattress, fresh bedding, and a fluffy pillow ready for supporting dreams.

At Sleep in Heavenly Peace, we provide much more than beds. A safe space kids can proudly call their own in a world that can feel uncertain. Peaceful nights sleep that help growing bodies and minds thrive.
