The Aspire Director provides direction and administrative oversight for the teaching and learning activities and operation of the OHIO Career Ready Campus programs, faculty, staff, and students. The OHIO Career Ready Campus is one of the programs in the Stevens Literacy Center in the Patton College of Education. OHIO CRC programs include Adult Basic Education, GED prep, High School Equivalency, Workforce Literacy and Readiness Education, Transition to Post-Secondary Education, ESOL, and Corrections Education.

The Stevens Literacy Center is engaged in community outreach in numerous, diverse relationships with local schools, businesses, and other community agencies. This work supports the missions of The Patton College of Education and Ohio University. The mission of The Stevens Literacy Center is to improve lives by researching, developing, and promoting literacy across the lifespan.
