What an incredible evening we had at Athens Night of Hope / Breast Cancer Charity Dinner!! How beautiful to see Summit Crossing Community Church of Limestone and Friendship Methodist united to share the gospel with a message of HOPE. Thank you, Steve Dorning for being willing to join this little dream of ours and for your encouraging words about unity. This event would not have been possible without the help of those who purchased tickets, our business sponsors and volunteers. We laughed and cried and were left encouraged in the hope we have in Christ. The donations for the silent auction were a HUGE hit and so appreciated. You did a great job keeping the auction going, Steve Kerce. LuVici's, thank you for an excellent meal and being so great to work with. Sweet Thymes, your desserts were divine! Thank you to Kristi Coughlin, Jessica Barksdale, Leigh Anne Black, Amanda Pennington, Nancy John and Harlyn Cowart for making us laugh with a little taste of Steel Magnolias and all the time and effort you put into making it happen. Also, Kristi for sharing your gift with music. Kim Evans and Shannon Neill, we cannot thank you enough for allowing us to join you in your journey and for being willing to share from the deepest places in your soul. Thank you to Al Gilbert for all your expertise and time with the sound system and Andrew England, Matthew Wilson, Mikey Marrazzo and Andrew Thompson for the BEAUTIFUL video. Mike Marazzo, Andrew and Mikey, thank you for helping with the lights and slides. NewFire, you blew us away with your beautiful music and your raw vulnerability to share what the Lord has done in your lives and the HOPE you have in Him. Cyn Shea's Express & Catering, the desserts you so generously donated were incredible and a yummy addition to the silent auction. Dana McCranie, we cannot wait to see your beautiful pictures that always make sweet moments come alive. Lauren Fowler, the flyers and banners were gorgeous. We loved the music you gave us, Shawn Rosco Hays! The servers were amazing and looked like pros out there. Joel and Kristy McCarty, thank you for being willing to help us get the building back in order. Many thanks to Domino's and Starbucks of Athens for the pizza and coffee. Sean Carter, thank you for always bringing us back to the simple truths. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
