Athens Valley Riders ATV Club Starting in July 2017 club meetings will be the 2nd Monday of the month @ 7:00pm. Normal meeting months will be April-November.

AVR ATV Club is located in Athens Maine and was formed in order to maintain the Athens ATV trail system, to help promote safe and legal ATV riding, and to give back to the Athens community. Meeting location is at 1234 Beckwith Rd.(Rt. 150) Cornville ME 04976

ALL MEMBERS encouraged to attend... and feel free to bring a friend! Agenda will be to discuss Club information, plan rides, plan work parties on trails, and just get together to rebuild membership and attendance. This is an opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas. We need your attendance, and welcome your participation. Hope to see you then, and please share so we can reach as many people as possible in our area.

Oh, and we've joined the Maine ATV Coalition, so check us out at http://www.maineatvcoalition.com/ Here you can compete your membership application for our Club or simply make a donation to our Club (and/or many other Clubs)... however, if you prefer, Paper - Applications were mailed out to all 2025 members on 3/9/26 to addresses on file.

On behalf of the Athens Valley Riders ATV Club, thank you if you were one of the 22 members and guests who attended today's meeting. If you were unable to attend, we still appreciate your support in the months to come. Special thanks also to Doug from Maine ATV Coalition and Scott from Moose Alley ATV Club for attending! The information you shared was valuable to us!

This email serves a few purposes:

1. Our Club will continue!!!

2. Applications for 2026 will be mailed out this coming week to your address on file. If any changes are needed, let me know asap. If you would prefer to be removed from our mailing, and from this email list, please let me know.

3. 2026 Officers and Board of Directors were elected (see below).

4. Bylaws under review and will be updated by the Board of Directors/Officers on 3/28/26

5. Monthly Meeting dates set (see below) some are tentative, for planning purposes only

6. Annual Report will be filed by April 1 by Treasurer

7. Club Grant will be filed by June 1 by Trailmaster/President

8. Maine ATV Coalition will be contacted by Secretary to discuss their services to Club

Future Club Meeting Minutes from each meeting (once typed following the meeting) will be shared with all paid 2026 members. Minutes from today's meeting will be shared with all in this email as soon as typed (this week).
