Water changes everything.

Last week our team drilled a new well in the Israel neighborhood on the edge of Puerto Lempira, Honduras. The water point includes two storage tanks that hold 600 gallons of clean water, supplied by a solar-powered pump. We believed that would be enough to serve the 50–60 families living nearby.

But something unexpected happened.

Because this is the only source of clean drinking water on that side of town, families have been walking from much farther away to fill their containers. By late afternoon, the tanks are empty, and some people must return home without water.

It's a powerful reminder that clean water is never taken for granted. Every drop means healthier children, stronger families, and hope for tomorrow.
