We have received reports that Texans are receiving mailers and text messages asking for personal information related to their voter registration.
Please, do not enter personal information on third-party websites!
Henderson County voters should use the Henderson County Elections and Voter Registration page for local election information, registration assistance and official resources: https://www.henderson-county.com/221/Elections-Voter-Registration
You can also securely check your voter registration status through the Texas Secretary of State’s My Voter Portal at https://www.votetexas.gov/
Important voter registration information for the Nov. 3, 2026, election:
• Voter registration deadline: Monday, Oct. 5
• Henderson County Elections Office: 903-675-6149
• Registration status and updates: VoteTexas.gov
If you are not registered, you can request an application through the Henderson County Elections Office or print, sign and mail an application available through VoteTexas.gov.
If your voter registration status is listed as “suspense,” it generally means your address needs to be confirmed or updated. You are still eligible to vote. Check your status through VoteTexas.gov and update your information as needed.
