Tim Lowry's inspirational interpretation of Dickens' A Christmas Carol is underway! Thanks so much to Soule Medical and Soule Packaging for sponsoring this Christmas tradition.

You can still get tickets at the Gift shop for tonight and tomorrow. And join us at 9:30 tonight for a family-friendly ghost walk around the Athens State campus. Any ticketholder gets to join us!

And did we mention due to the generosity of our sponsors and legislators, we're able to allow kids 12 and under to attend free of charge! Students 13 and up attend for as little as $5/session. Let's make sure our kids know the value of storytelling. Bring 'em on!

We had a ball last night as we welcomed our local student storytelling champions (and and Nathan Woolard ) to the stage to perform for family and friends. What a GREAT group of performers, and thanks to for emceeing! We believe sculpting a good story is a fine art, its composition just as deliberate, intricate, and meaningful as a musical score or a painting worthy of a museum wall. Through our storytelling competition, students learn how to take a story from a formless clump of an idea, serious or silly, and mold it into a narrative that engages an audience and gradually reveals a poignant moral or a hilarious punchline. Join us again Thursday night (Oct. 23, 2025) to see some of our winners perform again alongside our pro tellers!
