Today is World Water Day! It is crucial to understand the importance of fresh water, so today is the day to advocate for the management of freshwater resources.

In honor of March’s WASH Project, six of our members spent their Sunday picking up litter along the Athens Bike Path beside the Hocking River. They were able to fill up 4 bags of trash. This helps keep our community and waters clean. Way to go!!

On Saturday, 5 of our members and a recent CKI grad met at the Athens County Fairgrounds to help the Food Soldier Hunger Coalition with food distribution for 3.5 hours. Especially during times like this, it is important to help out your community. It was so rewarding to help out those in need with this opportunity.

Happy Valentine’s Day! At our card making event on Thursday, our members made cards for friends and family, and virtual cards for children’s hospitals. Make sure to show your appreciation for your loved ones today!

New semester = Another chance to join OU Circle K International. Join an organization that is currently doing virtual volunteering events and socials, so it’s a great way to get to know new people on campus for next semester! Before break three of our members cleaned up the flower beds at the Athens Public County. After 3 hours, we were able to collect a total of 14 bags of leaves! It was a great way to get outside and help our community.
