Hi, everyone! My name is Abby and I’m so excited to serve as the current President of Dawgs for Israel! Israel is a place very close to my heart—I spent a year living there after high school volunteering in an elementary school, and have spent several summers there working and studying. I feel a deep Jewish connection to the land and people, but also love the vibrancy, color, history, and cultures of the region. I’m a second year studying International Affairs, I care deeply about environmental sustainability, and I love cooking and playing music. I can’t wait for the events we have planned this semester and to get to know all of you, so please come say hi!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful start to the semester! This is Raul Garza; he’s the Education Assistant on this year’s DFI Board! 📚🧠
Raul is majoring in Food Science🍽🥙 and is a Junior at UGA. Raul has always been fascinated with the different cultures and religious sites in Israel 🇮🇱, as well as its role in international and civil affairs. Some fun facts about Raul: he can speak four languages 🗣(English, Spanish, Japanese, Latin) and knows how to read 7 different writing systems (Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and some Hebrew)!!!! Come have a conversation with Raul at one of our upcoming events!

She loves learning about Israeli culture and went on birthright over the summer✈️🗺🏖. Fun fact about Hannah: she loves to write and organize! Unfortunately Molly isn’t also on board but you might run into her at DFI events! Go Dawgs!🐶🐾🏟

Meet Hannah Lynch! She’s our VP of Education 👩🏻‍🏫 this year and we couldn’t be more excited! She’s a junior at UGA studying International Affairs and Arabic. Israel 🇮🇱 and Judaism ✡️ have been lifelong passions of hers. She was raised in a family of Zionists and has been obsessively researching these two subjects for years. This has given her a great desire to educate and foster this love in others, and by doing so, eliminate anti-Israel bias and anti-Semitism. Fun Fact about Hannah: she’s particularly interested in Hasidic community and is learning Yiddish. We’re going meshuggeneh over how amazing this girl is! Come schmooze with Hannah at one of our upcoming events, we can’t wait to see you!
