Athens Really Really Free Market

Athens Really Really Free Market The Really, Really Free Market is a community event that focuses on a temporary gift economy. at the Reese & Pope park on the corner of Reese St. and Pope St.

It is community members coming together to help each other out to mutual benefit. Currently, we are meeting every month on the second Saturday from 12 p.m.-2 pm. (Athens, GA). At the market, people from the community bring goods they no longer need, and present them to be taken by anyone that may have a use for them. It cuts out the middle man, and fills a need. Not only are material goods shared,

but services and skills can be shared as well. If you are interested in helping out, the power is all yours. ANY member of the community can pitch in, and no one person is expected to do any more than any other. If you would like to get rid of some of your clutter and help out your neighbor at the same time, please feel free to join us! Also, feel free to message the page admins with any questions you may have about these events and this movement. It can be a really great thing, when it is given life by individuals acting for the group.
