Ohio Brew Week The first week-long festival dedicated to craft brew in America!

21st Annual OBW: July 10-18, 2026 in Athens, Ohio.

Ohio Brew Week — or OBW, as we affectionately call it — is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and celebrating Ohio’s diverse craft brew industry during a 9-day-long Athens festival. Dozens of breweries descend upon Athens with hundreds of varieties of beer, taking over every tap in town. While the main focus has been on beer, we also recognize the importance of other growing craft br

ewing businesses to our state's economy. Wineries, meaderies, distilleries, and cideries all work hard to bring you the best in (and from!) their fields. We welcome these fine Ohio craft products to our festival.

We will miss you, Tony! Thanks for all the support for us over the years and all the smiles you've brought everyone who stopped in! You were amazing to work with and your jokes were never in short supply!

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the departure of the man who blessed us all with the bar: Tony Sylvester. Tony provided a space for us all to be ourselves, and we are forever grateful for the community that he built here. We will do our best to repeat his silly jokes and continue his legacy. We love you forever, Tony! 💜
