We'll be highlighting some of the research projects that provided the basis of the Foundation - you will be pleasantly surprised to learn the level of world-class research happening right here in our community! GO VOTE!!!!! Athens Orthopedic Clinic staff put this awesome dance together and if AOC gets the most votes, $10,000.00 will be donated to Breast Cancer research on their behalf. This is the BEST video of all submitted so let's get busy!!!!

WOW!!! What an incredible week...the Foundation will be announcing our newly appointed Board of Directors within the next few weeks. We are so fortunate to have these individuals agree to provide vision and guidance as we take on the task of developing our community programs for 2012. In addition to our dynamic Board, we have several awesome individuals who have agreed to serve on our Advisory Committee as we begin program development. Also happening now.... The Foundation has partnered with Bethlehem Ministry, a locally based nonprofit organization dedicated to aiding the poor in Haiti. Doctors from Athens Orthopedic Clinic along with Anesthesia Consultants of Athens and a team of support staff will be traveling to Haiti in January to perform surgery and provide pre and post operative care and rehabilitation instructions. St Mary's Hospital has generously donated much needed equipment for the clinic there as well.
