Thanks everyone for coming out to our training!

Join UGA's National Lawyer's Guild Chapter and American Constitution Society to learn about one of NLG's most famous traditions: legal observation.

Have you ever seen attorneys with neon green hats at a demonstration? That is NLG!

This crash course requires no prior knowledge and is a great way to learn about the NLG and ACS. We'd love to meet you, so take a quick study break and learn some easy skills that can go a long way. We hope to see you there!

Join the American Constitution Society (ACS) and Black Law Students Association (BLSA) TODAY Wednesday, April 6th from 4:30 – 7 pm for a virtual screening of On These Grounds to explore one fight against the school-to-prison pipeline in South Carolina.

Spurring from a viral, violent incident between a school police officer and black teenager, this film discusses violence against Black girls and activism to make a more equitable education system. The ACLU filed a federal lawsuit challenging the school’s policies in Kenny v. Wilson.

The film is under two hours long. After the virtual screening, we will be joined in a Zoom Q&A by Niya Kenny, one of the subjects of the film. Associate Dean Andrea Dennis will moderate the Q&A discussion. Learn more about the film on Represent Justice.
