ALT homes are available for families and individuals that earn no more than 80% of the area’s median income. Our homeownership clients generally have a minimum credit score of 640 and the ability to make a small down payment.

ALT will work with you to determine your eligibility for the program and will connect you with a lender to complete the process. Please note there is a waiting list for homes, but we have several homes under construction.

Here are some summer highlights from Williams Farm, featuring workshop attendees, volunteers, ALT'S youth program participants, staff, and guests.

We would like to say thank you to the campers of Sandy Creek's Active Teen Camp for lending a hand at painting signs this summer!

We are also grateful to Jasmine Herndon, AKA Healing Hipster, for the incredibly insightful Soil Health Workshop.

We owe one more thank-you to every volunteer who has braved the summer heat to lend a hand for various farm tasks!

🎉 Guess what today is... It's Closing Day! 🏡🔑

Congratulations to Ms. Patricia on the purchase of her beautiful new home. Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, and all of us at Athens Land Trust could not be happier to celebrate this milestone with her.

We will be hosting a small ribbon-cutting ceremony later in August to officially celebrate Ms. Patricia's new home. Stay tuned for more details—we'd love for you to join us and have the opportunity to meet Ms. Patricia in person!

Members of the GA FarmLink Farm Business Education program have heard from industry experts over the course of their membership, including Farmer Cee, founder and CEO of Green Heffa Farms, who works with these farmers on topics such as marketing, branding, social media, and revenue diversification.

In June, Farmer Cee met with these farmers in person to put their skills to the test at our Farmer Cohort Gathering. Here are some of the highlights!
