Reaching the halfway point of our monthly highlights from 2022, we arrive in June when Widespread Panic's Tunes For Tots donated $75,000 to CCSD to enhance music education, providing a path for many students in the district to explore the world of music in school! We are grateful to Widespread Panic's Tunes for Tots for their generous $75,000 donation for us to enhance our music education programs across the district as we head into the 2022-23 school year! This follows a $25,000 donation that the foundation provided us in the 2020-21 school year.

Funds raised at the 2021 Tunes for Tots event is supporting music education on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, home to approximately 30,000 people of the Oglala Lakota Nation. Here's a great photo from Wolf Creek K-8 with their new Powwow drum and a few from Summer Camp. (Woksape is a Lakota word for wisdom or important knowledge.)

Widespread Panic announces the 11th Tunes for Tots benefit concert: Thursday June 24th, 2021 at the Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colorado.
This year’s Tunes for Tots event will be supporting music education on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, home to approximately 30,000 people of the Oglala Lakota Nation.

Proceeds from the Concert will provide very much needed musical instruments and equipment to scholastic music programs in this, the most economically isolated region in the United States, as well as Title 1 programs in Colorado.

Tickets go on sale Monday June 7th, 10am MT. Online order only. Limit of 2 tickets per order.

This is an indoor, general admission event. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required, as dictated by the City of Denver for this indoor event.

VIP: $400 per person. This includes a soundcheck party, open bar from 5pm - 7pm, private cash bar and restrooms during the 8pm concert. After the event, a 2021 Tunes for Tots poster autographed by the band will be mailed to you.

GA: $200 per person. Doors open at 7pm. Showtime is 8pm.
More important information: All tickets will be delivered via Axs Mobile ID and are non-transferrable. Download the Axs app for entry. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required at the venue’s doors to gain entry (physical card and photos accepted).
