COAD hosted a field trip on Tuesday for Green STEM Camp, a summer program offered through the Patton College of Education's Stevens Center for Literacy and STEM Education at Ohio University.

Ohio Weatherization Training Center Curriculum and Training Coordinator Wayne Haning led an engaging, interactive presentation that inspired campers to think about sustainability, energy conservation, and the important role weatherization plays in strengthening homes and communities.

We were delighted to share this learning experience with such an enthusiastic group of future STEM leaders!

Kokosing Solar is proud to partner with the Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Development (COAD) to bring solar energy to six homes across Appalachian Ohio—helping expand access to clean, affordable power where it’s needed most.

This effort, supported by the Google Grid Innovation Fund, builds on COAD’s long-standing work delivering energy efficiency and weatherization services that reduce energy use and lower utility bills for low-income households. The grant was administered by the Columbus Region Green Fund and Elevate .
