Hey friends!! We are holding a Summer Homecoming planning meeting today Thursday at 7pm. We meet at the township hall/fire station. We have some awesome fun coming up, and we can always use some help!

Come one, come all!! Local businesses! Classes! Church groups! All the tractors you can find!! Motorcycles and golf carts! Jeeps, antiques and convertibles!! Floats and fire trucks from all of our neighbors!! Bring a banner, bring some candy! We went to see you ALL!!

Line-Up starts at 10 at Athens High School. There will be signs.

Sponsored by the Athens Area Historical Society and presented at 2026 Athens Annual Summer Homecoming and Community Special Events we are excited to announce we have something brand new this year! Who is in the market for a newly refurbished golf cart? At $20 per ticket I think everyone is!

Tickets are on sale now through Saturday July 25th 2026. Top Prize: Golf cart, 2015 E-Z-Go TXT 48 Volt electric golf cart. Drawing 7/25/26 7PM. Location: 129 E. Burr Oak Street, Athens, MI. Winner does not have to be present to be eligible. Minimum sales clause: if the minimum ticket sales are not met of the value of less than $450.00, a 50/50 raffle drawing will be held at listed date, time and location

NHBP along with FireKeepers Casino Hotel will host a Thanksgiving meal at the Athens High School on Thursday, November 27 from 11 AM - 1 PM. This is open to everyone.
