This scared boy is named HARDEN. He came in last week and he was microchipped, so we reached out to the owner. When she was on the phone, she was SO excited that we had him because he had been "stolen" a couple of months ago, and she was on the way to pick him up.

It's now Monday, she won't answer her phone and sends us straight to voicemail and he is still here, waiting for his human that was supposed to love him to come get him.

For those of you out there that might recognize this dog, please reach out to her and tell her that her dog is scared and lonely. For those of you out there that are considering getting a dog, make 100% sure it is what you want and that you are committed to that dog for LIFE! This is not a joke. We domesticated these animals, so it is our job to take care of them as long as they are alive.

Sunshine was surrendered (indoor/outdoor) for scratching her owner (I wish we were joking because this is ridiculous). Someone tried to pet her belly. Sunshine gave a firm "no". Her quarantine has now ended. She has been sweet at the shelter but has not been processed due to having been on quarantine.
