Kiddie Carnival opens next Thursday Night, June 11th! We'll have a brief opening ceremony about 6pm and the rides will start at 6:30pm. Come hungry we have great concessions available with favorites like burgers, fries, funnel cakes, cotton candy, popcorn & sno cones! Free admission, free off site parking, each ride is just one ticket and tickets are only 50 cents each. We have bingo also. Rides are best suited for children ages 2-10 years old, sorry adults the rides are for the kids only.

The Athens Lions Club Kiddie Carnival opens in 2 weeks on Thursday June 11th. Each ride is one 50 cent ticket, with Free admission to the Kiddie Carnival. Hours of operation are Thursday-Saturday nights, June11th-July 25th(closed July 4th weekend).

Parking: Free off site parking across street at school campus
Concessions: Hamburgers, Hot dogs, chicken fries, Coke Products, french fries, funnel cakes, popcorn, sno cones, bottled water, more
Rides: See other post for more info, rides are best suited for children 2-10 years old, but younger children do ride. NO ADULT RIDERS ON RIDES except standing beside child on carousel. Rides are kid size rides, not Midway carnival size rides.
Cash only, we are not able to acccept debit or credit cards.
We do not open until 6:30pm because we are 100% volunteer operated and many of our members work and then come voulunteer, this is also why our schedule is limited to 6 weekends. We are always looking for additional members for the Athens Lions Club!

We are preparing for the 2026 Kiddie Carnival. This morning the swings were hung back up by a few of the Athens Lions Club members.
Kiddie Carnival opens June 11th, open through July 25th on Thursday-Saturday nights(closed July 4th weekend). Looking forward to seeing you this summer.

Great night at Athens Lions Club Kiddie Carnival grounds last night with Make A Way Foundation and many volunteers. A special thanks to Limestone County Sheriff Josh McLaughlin and staff for coming out to support this event.
