Y’all after almost a full year of steering committee meetings and foundation work we are finally preparing to submit our incorporation paperwork and 501c3 application for Hive Mind Community Investment Cooperative.

I am so grateful for all of the hard work that Charlisa Coleman, Nyse Allen, Jami Mays, Alice Kinman, Matthew Epperson, and Matthew Hall have put in to fight rapid racialized displacement in Athens, GA and surrounding counties. Help us build!

We are looking for 25 housing advocates to donate between $100 - $1000 to help us reach our $5,000 goal to cover our launch expenses and enter the next phase of our fundraising efforts.

Esta mañana la familia y amigos de Tortuguita se reunieron en el bosque de Weelaunee para celebrar un monumento conmemorativo y esparcir sus cenizas. Se hicieron hermosos discursos edificantes y honrando el compromiso de Tort de proteger el medio ambiente y cuidar a las personas que los rodean. Un ser querido: “Ahora es un revolucionario en el cielo”. 

Tort fue ejecutado por la Patrulla Estatal de Georgia mientras estaba sentado con las piernas cruzadas con las manos en alto. Fueron asesinados defendiendo el bosque y la gente se niega a dejar que su muerte vaya en vano.

¡Atenas! Reunámonos para elaborar estrategias de solidaridad con nuestros vecinos que luchan para salvar el bosque Weelaunee y para tomar la construccion de Cop City. Recaudaremos fondos de defensa legal para el , compartiremos actualizaciones y consideraremos formas en que cada uno de nosotros está llamado a contribuir al movimiento en este momento.

Athens! Let's gather together to strategize solidarity with our neighbors fighting on the frontline to save the Weelaunee forest and stop cop city. We will raise legal defense funds for the , share updates, and consider ways we're each called to contribute to the movement at this time.
