As we plan for our 2026 season, we are seeking interested coaches to reach out to us to discuss opportunities for within our program.

There are a variety of recreation and travel opportunities available for both boys and girls in 1st - 6th grade. As our program continues to expand, we are in need of qualified coaching to be able to continue to offer opportunities. This need is especially seen in the incoming 3rd - 5th grade divisions.

If you would like to potentially volunteer, email us at [email protected]. We would be happy to set time up to discuss potential fits.

Exciting news for the fall!

We had the opportunity to hear Coach Phil Martelli, longtime St. Joe’s University head coach and Michigan assistant coach, talk at USA Basketball Coaching Academy last fall. Coach was gracious enough to stay in contact with us and has been terrific in offering to come to Athens next fall to host his Philadelphia Coaching Academy!

Stay tuned for more information and save the date of October 25 from 1PM-4PM at Athens HS. This clinic will be open to all area coaches (discount will apply to multiple coaches from the same program).

Help us start spreading the word so we can welcome Coach Martelli to Bradford County and learn from one of the games’ best minds!

Details of his Coaching Academy in the link below:

Joseph Santoliquito () Great ideas sometimes arrive when least expected, in strange places, at odd times. This past spring, St. Joe’s legendary former coach Phil Martelli was struck with a thought sitting in a church pew. He turned to his left and saw former Penn and Malvern Prep
