A federal judge just rejected the Trump administration's attempt to shut down our Clean Air Act lawsuit against xAI for operating an unpermitted gas plant in Southaven, MS.

: The NAACP is launching a legal War Room on October 24, led by General Counsel Kristen Clarke, to protect voters ahead of the 2026 midterms.

This includes an Election Protection program across 16 priority states, a coalition lawsuit to block federal agents from polling places, and a dedicated hotline for reporting voter intimidation.

"Real power belongs to the people," said NAACP President and CEO Derrick Johnson

With 52,000+ volunteers mobilized and a Get Out the Vote campaign designed to reach 6.5 million voters, the message is clear: fear will not stop our participation.
