First Friday Downtown Atchison, KS An evening of activity and entertainment on the first Friday of the month (May, June & July 2025) in Downtown Atchison. Fun for all ages!

Our mission is to provide a quality-of-life event for the city of Atchison, KS and the surrounding rural areas that are our neighbors. We are a grassroots effort compiled of local business owners, their employees, and community supporters. Our focus is providing family-friendly entertainment, community involvement, and giving donation support to 501c3 organizations within our community.

💥 ANNOUNCEMENT: Summer of 2026 is going to be filled with lots of things in Atchison!
👉🏻But First Fridays will not be one of them.
After 9 years and hundreds (if not over 1000) hours of volunteer work to make this happen, we are taking our 10th year as a sabbatical. It's time to rest, spend time with our families, and think about the next steps. 🩵
