Our shelves are running very low, and we are in desperate need of Purina ONE Dog Food for the dogs here at the shelter. ❤️🐶

If anyone is able to donate a bag, big or small, it would mean so much to us and our pups. Every bag helps us keep their bellies full while they wait for their forever homes.

I want to give a very special thank you to Farrell Kelley for the incredibly thoughtful birthday gift last Tuesday! 🎂🎁

Farrell purchased a brand-new laptop for the Humane Society of Atchison! 💻🐾 This laptop will stay at the shelter and be used for our shelter work. Our current computer hasn’t been working very well, so this is truly a gift that will make things so much easier for us.

Farrell, thank you for thinking of me on my birthday and choosing to give a gift that will benefit the shelter and the animals we care for every day. ❤️🐶🐱

Oscar is a sweet 2-year-old Terrier mix weighing 19.5 pounds. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. We are unsure how he does with cats, but he lived with other small dogs. Oscar can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience and time, his sweet personality starts to shine through. ❤️

This handsome little guy is ready to find a loving forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and part of the family. 🏡🐾

Dallas is a 2-year-old, 11-pound Terrier mix who is ready to find his forever family! ❤️

He is neutered, current on all vaccinations, and housebroken—what a great little guy!

Dallas isn’t a fan of big dogs, and we’re unsure how he feels about cats. He would do best in a home with older children who can respect his space and boundaries.
