On September 15th, 6:30pm FoAL will host Debbie Gassert, true crime author of Mighty Neighborly. The murder took place in the 1980's in Washington county, KS. Unique is that there has never been a body found; but there was a conviction.
Debbie had no background in the law but did years of research for this book. Copies of the book are available for check out. Debbie will also sign copies on September 15th.
FoAL (Friends of Atchison Library) is always looking for new members. We will hand out applications: annual dues are$15 for individuals, $25 for families, $125 for a life membership.
