Huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the SLO Ponderosa fundraiser event today. It was really amazing! We plated 75 servings and with all the donated family dinner purchases, 11 veterans and families enjoyed a BBQ dinner at no charge to them! Special shoutout to Chef Ron who spent the whole day on the BBQ, Santa Margarita Adventures who donated an epic family adventure night, and Post 2814 for their generous cash donation. If you are unfamiliar with SLO Ponderosa, check them out at the link below. Their organization helps veterans and seniors in our community to age comfortably and safely in their homes by providing safety upgrades and general home maintenance that is so often difficult to do themselves or afford. Our Auxiliary is proud to be connected to their team and help not only to fundraise, but to connect and network on behalf of our veterans and community. Our whole community is truly a dream team! 🇺🇸♥️🤍💙

The weather was perfect for our highway stroll this morning and the breakfast burritos were delicious!

Adopt a highway clean up this morning! Once a month we come together to do a nice walk and pick up trash in the area near the post. This event is posted on our monthly calendar. We had breakfast burritos this morning for the crew that showed up. Come and join us monthly if you can!
