Atascadero Elks Lodge #2733

10/23/2026

"As long as there are Veterans, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will be there to support them." Thanks to your moral, physical, and financial support, we have not had to say NO to a Veteran yet. Whether it is delivering furniture, moving and stacking wood, cleaning, buying them a good jacket to protect them against the weather as they walk to work, or taking them razors and deodorant, we do this because the members and the public support us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The Atascadero Elks Lodge Vets Team.

Something really beautiful happened a few days ago. We are out in the community, working with people, wearing our Vets Team, Atascadero Elks hats. Because of what we are doing, we got a text, asking if we knew any veterans that would like a full tri tip dinner for four. The VFW was doing a fundraiser barbecue for SLO Ponderosa, an entity that does repairs for veterans at no charge. Kristina at Locals Helping Locals asked Holly and Heidi at the VFW if they knew a veteran or two who could use the meals. We had a veteran and his son, referred by CAPSLO, and a veteran and his wife, referred by Central Coast Veterans Helping Veterans. Our Vets Team delivered the meals to those two families, who were so incredibly grateful. It was a joy to see how happy this made them feel. This is what networking is helping our Lodge do for our veterans in our community.
