We are sad to announce the passing of our police service dog Pit. Pit's death was unexpected and a result of an unforeseen medical issue. Pit was the ninth police service dog to serve the community. The department would like to recognize Corporal Hester for his dedication to the K-9 program as well as his skill as a K-9 handler.
Rest in Peace Pit you are deeply missed.

We want to thank the community for all of their support during this troubling time. Citizens from our city along with members of protect paso have hung blue ribbons, thank you signs among other signs. We truly appreciate all of this and I honestly have to say I teared up a little the other day seeing all of this as I was pulling out of the station. We have also been receiving food trays and other food items from our citizens on a daily basis. THANK-YOU!!!

We learned that a long time supporter of our K9 Foundation lost his home and all of the contents inside, including animals because of a house fire. His family has set up a gofundme account which I told him I would share on our page. Any donation would be awesome. https://www.gofundme.com/7023awo.
Thank-you

On March 11th, I received a call while I was attending college of the Siskiyous police academy. That we had lost our home and three of our dogs, and some cats too. Due to a fire that just broke out and took everything we owned with it. I am asking for just even a dollar to help us get back on our...

We are saddened by the tragic passing of Pismo Beach PD Sgt. Trevor Blevins. Trevor was a canine handler for their agency before retiring Cannix to accept a promotion to the rank of sergeant. Sgt. Blevin is survived by his wife and three children. The Pismo Beach Police Officers Association has set up a go fund me account to help his family in this tragic time. We have attached a link in a effort to support the Pismo Beach POA and Sgt. Blevins' family. If you would like to donate to this family please do so.
