Located in San Luis Obispo County. I get exact location today.
Donner is an 11 year old dachshund mix, neutered male around 18 lbs. He’s shy around people he doesn’t know and good with children 3 and up. He enjoys being around other dogs but needs a minute to feel comfortable. He is passive and cowers if a dog is aggressive toward him. He loves to be pet - super affectionate and very loyal. He is potty trained, enjoys a good walk, knows basic commands like sit and stay. He’s microchipped and is in excellent health. He is due for a Wellness visit. The reason we are looking for a new home is because he recently lost his dog-friend Annie and his “boy” is now a man and moving out of the country. Holly 805-234-6559

Atascadero Ca and he must stay in SLO county in case I need fo assusf adopter wuth him. The home I thought would be perfect didn’t work out! Cooper has insecurities around men and gets very protective over his woman! He was not socialized enough and has an issue with men! Now once he trusts things are different! He needs guidance! He needs a home that can understand his issues! Trust me I can give you every detail how to make this work with him. The man of the home must be involved in his walking, feeding and play etc! He spent his first two years just knowing a mom. I think him being adopted by just a female is just going to make his insecurities worse with men! Everyone says I should just keep him but I cannot! My other dogs come first especially Floyd who is addicted to balls! Cooper is a fetch maniac and steals poor Floyd’s thunder. Piper is just 6 months and I don’t want to loose precious puppy time with her! Please personal message me if you think you are a patient loving home for this think!

With happy tears in my eyes I’m here to report Cooper was adopted today. Im getting to be such a softy in my old age and the tears run! In these two months this guy stole my heart and honestly I really wanted to keep him! He has a 6 month old cute little brother named Mr Bean. Nichol and Jeremy were a hit with my 5 dogs so I knew they were good people! The quirks Cooper had were traits they were looking for in a dog and loved his silly goofy actions! He will have room to run and play fetch! He will get to go to work with them and be socialized! The best part is they want to join in on our Dachshund meet ups so I’ll hopefully get to see him once a month! How I didn’t get a picture I don’t know damn it! Cooper you were a keeper but I think you hit the jackpot! Love you Coop!

ATASCADERO CA.
This handsome guy is Cooper. He is 2 years old and has had all the important things done! He is crate trained and potty trained! He need a strong pack leader to keep him from getting insecure and acting up! On that note he is one of the best cuddle bugs I have ever slept with! He isgreat with other dogs of all sizes! He will play fetch for hours and is a high energy dog! Someone who works full time is not a good fit because he won’t get to release enough energy to stay stable and happy! I know that is asking a lot but I’m being honest with what he needs to thrive! If you are interested in adopting him understanding he requires a little extra then please message me on messenger. 🐶🐶Cooper is still looking for the right home!🐶🐶He is located in Atascadero Ca. I am not allowing adoption outside reasonable area because if he should have issues I must take him back and be sure he is not put down!!! Cooper is 2 years old, neutered, micro chipped, crate trained, potty trained and ball obsessed! He must have a strong pack leader who is dog savvy! Cooper is a lovable cuddly hunk! He has OCD and he can turn excitement into insecurity! He needs an owner who is familiar with insecure behavior and put a stop to it before he becomes aggressive! He needs more socialization and training but he needs to build with his owner now not just me. He had an adventure with my friends and went to Home Depot and did great! While I love knowing he is growing into a stable dog I’m still aware he can have bad behavior! I’m against him living with small children but older ones who can understand him I’m sure he would love them!! While he needs more time and training he is absolutely a fun loving guy! Hi my name is Goldie. I’m looking for a forever home. I’m 3 so I need an active owner or family. Walks, hikes or adventures would be great! I do like to cuddle up too though! Sorry no one knows what mix I am other than a cutie! I am great around kids and they dont scare me even if they are spunky like me! I am being fostered in Atascadero if you would like to meet me. I have all those important things done! I’m crate trained and potty trained too but I may need patience to get into the groove. I start off shy because I am just unsure. I was rescued from a high kill shelter so my previous life was not a happy one! If you give me a few days to feel secure you will then see how silly and lovable I am!
