What an unforgettable experience celebrating the annual AANHPI Heritage Month Celebration of the New York City Department of Social Services at the World Trade Center last May 13, 2026.

It was truly a joy to represent and share our culture through the Asian Fashion Show, Banga Dance, and Hukilau Dance by the wonderful Cebu Inc. Dance Ensemble. Every moment was filled with pride, unity, and the vibrant spirit of our community. The dancers were honored to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from DSS.

Celebrating our heritage and traditions together reminds us that our diversity is our strength and our culture continues to shine brightly.

CEBU Inc. proudly celebrated two incredible milestones—the launch of the CEBU Inc. Cultural Dance Group and the unveiling of the CEBU Inc. ELEVATE Fashion Magazine—marked by a special ribbon-cutting ceremony led by President Jonathan Ongvano together with Past Outstanding Cebuano awardee, Atty. Paolo Marco Mapula and the entire Officers and Board of Directors. The ELEVATE Fashion Magazine is a special inaugural edition in celebration of Fashion, Culture and Stories stemmed from the hard work of Eileen, Mitos and Jessa.

From stunning cultural performances to an amazing fashion show and meaningful connections, the day was truly remarkable.

One of the highlights of the event was the fashion show featuring a Spring Collection, Modern Filipiniana, and Traditional Filipiniana—some beautifully designed by Jessa Manalastas and Leonard Co.

We also warmly welcomed our newly inducted members, Dr. Eileen Xu and Ms. Heidi Breiffa.

Congratulations to Event Chair Jessa Manalastas and Co-Chairs Clavelyn Fontanes and Charlotte Muetter for a job well done, and to the entire CEBU Inc. family for another successful and memorable event!

CEBU INC. proudly celebrates a meaningful milestone as we successfully distributed 100 Gifts of Love in the comeback of our Gasa sa Gugma Project!

With hearts full of service, we shared over 100 food bags to the community of Woodside, New York, in partnership with Midwest Food Bank PA.

This impactful initiative was led by our dedicated Community Service Director, Sunshine Raffinan, and made possible by the incredible participation of our members proudly wearing their green Gasa sa Gugma shirts.

Together, we continue to uplift, serve, and spread love where it is needed most.

C.E.B.U Inc. expresses its sincere gratitude for the opportunity of our very own, Tribu Cebuano to perform at the 30th Honolulu Festival. It is with great pride that we share this historic moment—as, for the first time in three decades, the Philippines was represented on stage.
