BOATS AT THE BARBEY!
Columbia River Maritime Museum
Saturday, June 27, 2026, 11:00AM - 3:00PM
Warnock Model Boat Pond, 2042 Marine Drive, Astoria

The fun begins at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 27, and continues through 3:00 PM. Throughout the day, visitors can watch powered model vessels navigate a course at the pond, with select opportunities for hands-on driving experiences for lucky participants.

Inside the Barbey Maritime Center, guests can explore static displays and meet model builders to learn about the intricacies of model making, along with tips for those interested in getting started. The Sam Johnson Woodworking Shop will also be open, offering a look at how the space supports hands-on programs for adult learners. Crafts and family-friendly activities will be available throughout the event.

From 12:30–1:30 PM, participants will also have the chance to operate the museum’s Springer Tugboat Fleet through a navigational course.

Mark your calendar and plan to join us at the Pond!
No Museum Admission required.
