Hello, everyone! I'd just like to start by saying that I got a PET Scan last week and as of now, I am cancer free!
Thanks to/for all yer love and support, which helped me through every last minute of it. I'm so lucky to have the best family and friend anyone could ever dream of having. I'm serious. Yer emotional support made me feel like nothing was going to stop me from getting better. Can't thank ye enough.
Unfortunately, I am still recovering and suffering from the radiation, which even though it killed my cancer - it left and did a lot of internal damage which is what has delayed my recovery. Some of the damage is permanent but manageable. I had major surgery, which some of ye know and it was successful, thankfully, but again has some permanent side effects. I have a very hard time swallowing solid food but I manage and I'm hopeful it will get better in time. So now I must build my strength up and get back to living.
Now I must thank everyone who attended, participated and organized all the benefits. I'll only mention one name who got the ball rolling, my dear friend, Dave Cremin. I can't mention anyone else because there's so many and I'd hate to leave anyone out, but ye all know who you are. Dave organized the organizers and I can't say it in a way that does it justice but what a fantastic job ye all did. From the first one, which was unbelievable to the second one of 5 events. I can't believe how organized each event was and the creative ideas behind them. What a great job.
I'd like to thank everyone who donated gifts for the different events and the auctions. So much appreciated.
I'd also like to thank all the bars that hosted each event. To the owners and the staff, ye all did a fantastic job. Also, I'd like to thank everyone who allowed posters to be advertised.
I'd like to thank everyone who donated from abroad or were unable to attend the events.
Once again, thank you everyone who donated and supported me. It has definitely taken a lot of weight off my shoulders and will make it possible for me to go forward and keep going.
I have so much love in my heart for every single one of ye.
I am humbled and I feel that I've got the best family and friends in the world.
I'm a lucky guy.
