🌶️ LCAC June Meeting Reminder! 🌶️

Our June monthly meeting will be this Thursday, June 11th at Señor Peppers in Pierson.

Come around 6:00 PM to eat, hang out, and share Memorial Day stories. Meeting starts promptly at 7:00 PM.

We have lots to talk about, including how awesome our 23rd Annual Poker Run was! 🃏🚤

Phase III Extreme Water Shortage Declared 🚨

The St. Johns River Water Management District is issuing a Phase III Extreme Water Shortage declaration due to ongoing exceptional drought conditions, declining groundwater levels, and reduced surface water flows across northeast and central Florida.

💧 Current restrictions include:
✅ Landscape irrigation limited to 1 day per week
✅ No irrigation between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
✅ Restrictions tightened for new plantings and sod
✅ Golf course fairway irrigation limited to 1 day per week
✅ Aesthetic water use prohibited
✅ Additional restrictions on pressure washing and other non-essential water uses

The water shortage order is also being expanded into the District’s portion of Lake County.

We are urging all residents, businesses, and institutions to conserve water and eliminate unnecessary water use as drought conditions continue.

Just a few pictures from our 23rd Annual LCAC Poker Run this past Saturday. 🎉

What a great day on the river. Good people, good weather, packed stops, amazing food, gifts & prizes galore, a ton of laughs, and all kinds of boats. It was awesome seeing everybody out enjoying themselves and supporting the club.

Definitely one for the books. More pictures and videos coming soon.

WOW… what an AMAZING turnout for the 23rd Annual Lake County Airboat Club Poker Run this past Saturday! 🐊♠️🔥

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to every single sponsor, volunteer, rider, donor, supporter, member, friend, and family member who helped make this event such a HUGE success.

This event would NOT be possible without the incredible support from our sponsors, numerous local businesses, restaurants, establishments, and individuals who generously donated raffle items, gift baskets, prizes, merchandise, gift certificates, food, time, and support for our club. Your generosity truly means the world to us. ❤️

To everyone who came out by boat, by truck, by car, or just to hang out and support — THANK YOU! Seeing our community come together like this is exactly what makes this club so special.

As many of you know, this was our 23rd Poker Run, and every year continues to get bigger and better. Because of your support and the funds raised through events like this, LCAC is able to continue giving back to our community through local schools, youth programs, charitable causes, conservation efforts, community events, and more.
