 Good morning everyone! We have officially entered the season of giving, so with that being said, I thought it was time to make a post. I know we have in our community an angel tree and a couple other resources that help give to children during the Christmas season. If you so find it in your heart to make a homemade gift, you can bring it to the quilt shop and we will see that it gets distributed to one of these organizations. Items I had in mind are…lap quilt with some soft cuddly minky on the back because children love those, a super cute pillowcase or even a handmade stocking with goodies. These are fairly simple items that could be made in a short period of time. I hope you will find it in your heart to create something special for a child! Enjoy your family next week for Thanksgiving. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas.

🩷Good evening ladies! 🩷
So sorry we have been quiet for a while! Life has been too busy and honestly, I just dropped the ball!

I would love to get our meetings going again as I have some fun projects in mind that would be fun to get started on! I don’t feel the second Sunday of the month is good this month as that is Mother’s Day, but what about the last Sunday of May? That would be May 26th! Please comment below if that works for you all or we could even do an evening during the week, I am open to suggestions!

❤️❤️Hey ladies…I have had several message me saying they can’t come this Sunday to Craft Club. I think due to the extreme cold weather we will cancel this week…watch for a reschedule date! This will give you all time to stay home and craft where it is warm!❤️❤️

❤️🩷Join us on Sunday, Jan 14th at 2:30, to make a super cute Valentine project and learn a new sewing skill! We have a few sewing machines available, but bring one if you can to make it go faster! We will be learning paper piecing, so bring a small amount of scrap fabrics that would be cute on a Valentine! ❤️🩷

This will be SEW fun and very basic!❤️🩷 Trust me, if I can do it, anyone can!❤️🩷

I am so proud to announce that our craft club was able to donate $1955.00 to the Stonewall County Senior Citizens from the proceeds of our Christmas quilt project! What a blessing all of you are to our small town community! The Senior Citizens Board of Directors were so grateful to receive these funds!
Thank you all for your hard work making the quilt!🎄❤️

🎄 Craft Club Christmas party today at 2:30! Bring a fun snack and a show and tell project. We will not be crafting today, just great fellowship and much talk of crafting! We will also discuss and vote on our plans for the Christmas Quilt fund raiser. If you had a part in making the quilt, I hope you can attend so we get your suggestions and vote!🎄❤️

This is something I would love to see us do! My kids have their favorite childhood blanket that they still cherish! How great would it be to pray over and bless so many young lives with the special warmth of a handmade quilt? Challenge accepted ❤️
