Aspen Center for Living Peace has been created to fill a programming niche in Aspen of longer, in-depth secular programming geared toward finding one’s inner peace, identifying one’s passions, and then sharing them with the world. Empowering each person to make a difference in his or her life and in the world. This holistic approach to living peace acknowledges that peace can be lived and experien
ced in all aspects of our daily lives. The work of uncovering peace is not just through conflict resolution and mediation – it is in the way we care for our environment, appreciate arts and culture, create our business, raise our children, and in every word we speak and every action we take. The founding collaborators of the Aspen Center for Living Peace are Gina Murdock, Barbara Owen, Lexie Potamkin, Catherine Anne Provine, Phyllis Scruggs and Kelly Smith. Mission:
