Ashwaubenon Historical Society The Museum is wheelchair accessible, has accessible restrooms, & a large parking lot. It moved to its present location & opened the Museum in 2001.

The Ashwaubenon Historical Society began as a committee of individuals who realized that preserving a community's past would provide a path for the future. It was established as a private non-profit organization in 1971 & incorporated in 1976. Its first home was two former classrooms at Cormier School, the first public school in Ashwaubenon founded in 1872. The Museum is staffed by volunteers who

also create the exhibits. The Museum collection features a well-known exhibit of "Tramp & Hobo" art, created & collected by area native, Adolph VandertieAdmission ~ $1.00
From March - December open 1:00 p.m. - 4:p.m. Wed & Sat or by appointment. CLOSED January & February Phone: 920-429-2863 Leave message. Monthly meetings at the Museum are on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Need a meeting place? The Museum is available. Want to schedule a visit or tour when the Museum is closed?
