Parent Meeting

+All Code of Conduct Forms must be returned to a coach by end of practice Thursday
+No Parking In The Grass. There is overflow parking at the baseball fields. Cars parked in grass may be towed.
+No pets allowed on property
+ Only Coaches and Athletes on track. No parents allowed past gate

+ We will need volunteers for the concession stand during home games. Every time a volunteer works the concession stand, their name will be entered into a raffle. At the End of Season Banquet, a winner will be drawn. The winner will be credited for the next seasons registration fees. If your child is aging out of the program, then you will be reimbursed for this seasons fees.

+ TVYFL will be doing the Poppin Popcorn fundraiser again this year. Forms will be handed out as soon as we get them in. There will be a QR code on the form where you can scan and register your child for the fundraiser.
+ Highest selling individual will win $100

🔸Please arrive in full uniform ( Jersey BLUE side out, pads, pants, cleats)

🎀 CHEER: Thursday August 27th 4:30-6pm

**No Football practice this evening for any grade or color due to the flooding of the field.

**Cheerleading will still take place on the track unless told otherwise by a specific coach.

🚨 LEAGUE-WIDE UPDATE – PLEASE READ 🚨

This weather has been absolutely crazy this month, and unfortunately it has put us in a bind where we have to pivot to make this season work. Between schools closing, roadways shutting down because of flooding, and fields literally being underwater, there just isn’t much we can do.

As a current board member of the Mini OCC, we voted to push Week 1 of the season back and move those games to Labor Day Weekend, September 5th–6th.

Here’s what that means:

This weekend’s games (8/22–8/23) are CANCELLED and will be moved to 9/5–9/6.

✅ Next weekend’s schedule will remain as scheduled.

We explored every option we could for this weekend, but the reality is the fields are flooded and simply not playable. This isn’t what any of us wanted, but at this point we really don’t have another option.

We completely understand that some families may already have plans for Labor Day Weekend. If you’re unable to change those plans, we understand. But our biggest priority is doing everything we can to get these kids the games we promised them this season.

If you have questions, please message me directly and not in the group. Thank you for your patience and your ability to pivot with us and make this work for the kids!

We will be having a parent meeting tomorrow, Tuesday August 18th. We ask everyone attend at 5:30 pm. We will be inside the stadium for the Parent meeting at our TVEMS Field.

Make sure to show up to Meet the team this evening. Gates open up at 6pm for open practices. For all those missing any part(s) of their uniforms I'll be there at 6pm on the sidelines handing it out. Please everyone wear your Jerseys blue side out this evening. We ask if you do not plan on attending the open practices to arrive no later than 7pm to be ready for staging.
