Teays Valley Youth Baseball League announcement:

Practice for 8U, 10U & 12U will begin the week of March 16th. Opening day for ALL divisions is April 18th and will begin @ 10 AM.

Year end tournament: 6/15-6/19
Draft day (coaches only) : March 14th
Mandatory coaches meeting: March 21st

Rookie league/t-ball: the PLAN is for tball to start practice the week of 4/13, their games will not start until the week of 5/11 and will go through 6/19. Games/practices are planned to be on Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday - this is our plan because March and beginning of April is way to cold for little ones and they miss so much practice so we want to make sure they get that opportunity 🙂
For tball your child will need: a helmet, bat, glove, and cleats. A bag to put it all in is suggested. Pants/socks will be discussed once your child is drafted onto a team by a coach.

8U: Unfortunately for 8U we do not have a set schedule for days the plan is for it to be Wednesday & one other day through out the week but NOT Saturday or Sunday.
8U supplies needed: a helmet, bat, glove, and cleats, GIRLS ONLY: face mask. Bag suggested to put things in. Pants & socks will be discussed once your child is drafted onto a team.

10U: Games will be Tuesday & mostly Friday. Some weeks the other game may not be on Friday.
Supplies: a helmet, bat, glove, cleats. Bag is suggested. GIRLS ONLY: face mask. Pants and socks will be discussed once your child is drafted onto a team.

12U: Games will be on Monday & Thursday.
Supplies: a helmet, bat, glove, cleats. Bag is suggested. GIRLS ONLY: face mask. Pants and socks will be discussed once your child is drafted into a team.

Coaches will begin reaching out to parents on 3/7 weekend on practice and other details.

ALL of this is a very much a PLAN and nothing is set in stone, I’m just trying to answer all your questions I’ve seen online.

We have received a few emails requesting days and time for games and practices. We will not have that information until we find out how many teams we are going to have for each division and can get a schedeule set. Once your child is drafted to a team, your coach will reach out to you with practice information.
