Scouts BSA Troop 86G Painesville

Last week, our girls headed to summer camp at Beaumont Scout Reservation and had a BLAST!! Our girls completed merit badges and service hours, and were in the pool every chance they got!

This year, our girls were faced with camping in extreme heat conditions. Temps every day we're in the mid to upper 90s, with heat indices near 110°. It was rough. Temps overnight barely made it out of the 80s, making for uncomfortable sleeping unless there was a fan in the tent. A LOT of water and electrolytes were had. Our girls made the best of it and will have memories for years!

Thank you to Beaumont Scout Reservation's incredible staff, and for being able to change plans to make sure everyone attending were safe! Aquatic staff, you definitely deserve props for last week!

Swim tests before summer camp with Scouts BSA Troop 222 - Mentor, Ohio and BSA Troop 68 Painesville, and a little fun in the pool after.

Alright folks! We are at IGA in Perry and thanks to all of you amazing humans, this is all we have left, but we'd really like to sell out tonight so our awesome moms can spend ALL day with their kids! We know rain is on the way, but we'll still be here until 8:00!!

We were proud to help Cub Scout Pack 3068 Painesville present the big flag at the Monsters game last night! It was our first time presenting this flag and we had some nervous scouts, but they made it!! So proud of our girls! We can't wait til next year!

This morning, alongside the boys and Cub Scout Pack 3068 Painesville , we celebrated Scout Sunday at our scouting home!
