As was read at the 4:30 pm Mass, please see the statement issued by the Diocese of Youngstown regarding several individuals who broke in to the former Mother of Sorrows Church building early Saturday morning.
We are grateful for those who alerted the police and the quick response by the Ashtabula Police Department apprehending the suspects.
Upon inspection, it does not appear that anything is missing or has been destroyed other than the door they gained entry through, which has since been secured.
