🇺🇸 Congratulations to our September 2026 Raffle Recipient: Mr. Jay Goudy!

Mr. Goudy is a proud United States Marine Corps veteran, having honorably served from 2008 to 2012. During his service, he completed three combat deployments to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Jay has been married to his wife, Karli, for seven years, and together they reside in Kingsville with their four children. Family is at the center of Jay’s life, and he is deeply involved in his children’s

Children of Veterans Scholarship Program – 2026/2027 School Year
As we approach the 2026–2027 school year, the Ashtabula County Veterans Service Commission is proud to continue the Children of Veterans Scholarship Program, supporting graduating seniors whose families have served our nation.

This program exists to honor service, invest in futures, and uplift the next generation of leaders across Ashtabula County. Eligible high school seniors can apply through their school guidance office, and awards will be presented at each school’s Senior Awards Night.

Help Us Reach Every Eligible Student
We want to ensure every eligible senior across Ashtabula County hears about this opportunity. Please take a moment to share this post so families, schools, and community members can help spread the word.

Support the Program
Local businesses, organizations, and individuals are invited to become sponsors or donors. Every contribution—large or small—directly supports students connected to our veteran community.

If you or your organization would like to support the 2026/2027 scholarship class, please contact the Veterans Service Commission or stop by the office.

Together, we can honor the legacy of service and empower the future of our youth.
