Kinley was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in September, 2011 at the age of 6. She had a bone marrow transplant in January, 2012 in which she had to stay in the hospital for 66 days straight. During her stay at Nationwide Children's Hospital, her favorite thing to do was crafts of any kind. She loved when the craft cart would visit her room and bring her crafts to do as well as visit i
n the teen room with the other patients and do community crafts with the Recreational Therapist. Now that Kinley is in remission and feeling better, she would like to bring joy to the patients on the Hematology/Oncology/BMT floor by collecting craft supplies and delivering them to the patients. The craft supplies could be as simple as basic crayons and coloring books, glue, scissors and construction paper but items that the hospital is in need of are glitter glue pens, individual paint sets, stickers, play doh, foam art, individually packaged crafts, window crayons and markers. Please help us make our craft drive a success by bringing joy to the kids at Nationwide Children's Hospital while they can't be creative at school. Donate to Kinley's Krafts today!
