Mapleton Local Schools is excited to begin renovations of the Memorial Garden at John E. Camp Stadium—a special place dedicated to honoring the memory of Mapleton students who passed away while attending Mapleton High School, as well as beloved teacher, coach, mentor, and friend Josh Olin.

For generations, Mapleton has been built on relationships, service, and community. This renovated space will serve as a lasting tribute to those whose lives continue to impact our school and community.

One of Coach Olin's favorite quotes came from Tuesdays with Morrie:

"Devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning."

To bring this vision to life, we are seeking support through monetary donations, materials, and professional services. Needs include:

• Flagpole and lighting
• Landscaping materials (trees, shrubs, flowers, mulch, decorative grasses)
• Stone, concrete, and hardscape materials
• Benches and memorial features
• Site preparation and installation services
• General monetary donations

Every contribution—large or small—will help create a meaningful space that reflects the values of compassion, service, and community that define Mapleton.
