Tryouts for the JABC Tin Caps 11U are this weekend, and we’re looking for competitive, coachable players who want to grow with a team, not just fill a roster.

⚾ 11U Tryout for Mid-Ohio Area ⚾

We’re looking for boys who want to compete, be coached, grow, and are ready to be challenged to add to our 2027 roster.

Our 2027 11U season will include:
⚾ Winter Indoor Workouts in Ontario & Ashland
⚾ Game IQ + Situational Awareness classes
⚾ A Full 2027 Tournament Schedule
⚾ Competitive baseball with a focus on development, effort, and team culture

Tryouts are July 26th from 1–3 PM at Davis Field in Ashland.

GameChanger shows us the hits, the runs, and the final scores of last weekend.

It doesn't show the fans' conversations like this one.

This weekend gave our boys a chance to learn two lessons that matter far beyond baseball: how to celebrate respectfully and how to lose gracefully (even against kids twice their size!)

There were moments this weekend of crazy excitement and certainly moments when things didn't go our way. Both are opportunities to grow for a first-time travel team.

Thankful for the coaches and team parents who understand that baseball isn't just teaching them how to play the game. It's teaching them how to handle adversity, support teammates, stay humble in success, and keep showing up when things don't go their way.

After 2 weeks of rainouts and missed practices, it felt good to finally get back into the swing of baseball this weekend. ⚾️

Pool play knocked out some rust but these boys battled hard in bracket play today! Huge bombs from McCoy Mager and Braxton Repp brought some fire and energy when we needed it most. 💣

Proud of this group for continuing to fight and compete until the very last out.

Because in baseball… the game isn’t over until it’s over.

With over 200 entries for the Spring Pressure Washing Package, these boys hit the pavement (literally!) Going door to door, selling tickets because of how much they love this game… and we couldn’t be more proud of them.

THANK YOU to everyone who supported the JABC TinCaps. Every ticket, share, and shoutout helps these boys grow on and off the field. ⚾️

First tournament in the books ⚾️

A few growing pains and moments of working out the nerves this weekend, but that’s part of it, especially for a first year team. There were also a lot of plays to be proud of!

The boys got their first W (huge 🙌) and 2nd place in the silver bracket in their first tournament. We’ll take it!

This is a really good group of kids. A lot of potential, a lot to build on, and A LOT of baseball ahead!

⚾️ JABC Tin Caps Season Showcase Day ⚾️
Saturday, April 11 | Brookside Park

Come kick off the season with some great local baseball!

10U vs. Clearfork Crush — 12 PM
12U vs. Revere — 2 PM

If you’ve got young ballplayers at home, bring them out to watch some great local competition and get inspired for the season ahead!

We’ll have a concession stand rolling as a fundraiser to support the team — stop by, grab some food, and support the boys 🌭
