Bucket List Adventures NW is officially hitting the ground at our 140-acre off-grid Ranch on Dead Indian Memorial Road. At 4,000 feet, 15 minutes from Ashland, the vision is becoming a reality and we are looking for a Founding Build Crew to help us prep the first Adventure Zones.

THE MISSION
Our focus is youth and elders—addressing Social Isolation and Adult Failure to Thrive through Mentorship and shared Adventure. We are building a space to bring generations together to build and explore.

THE CURRENT PHASE
We are clearing out years of odds and ends, pallets, and clutter to define our zones and terrain for our Drive-Thru Petting Zoo. We are also doing some w**d eating and assembling the first of our picnic tables. From the STEM RC track to community card nights, this decluttering is what will have this place looking great for our first programs.

THE CREW
We are looking for capable men and women who are ready to help us get this place into shape. You don't need to have tools to help, but it is a massive benefit if you have access to a w**d eater, a tractor with a brush hog, or any kind of larger mower.

We are also seeking a photographer, bonus if you have a drone to help us promote to our potential sponsors

THE PAYOFF
We work hard, but we value the payoff. If you have mini-bikes or quads, bring them up so we can enjoy the mountain once the work is done. Be part of the founding crew of a mountain mission. Fresh air, post-shift campouts, and the pride of building a legacy.

READY TO JOIN?
Message this page directly with your availability and if you have any equipment you can bring to the mountain. Let’s get to work.

LEAVING IT BETTER THAN WE FOUND IT

This isn't just a goal. It's the core of everything we do at Bucket List Adventures NW.

We are here to address a silent epidemic—the growing isolation of our seniors and the vanishing mentorship of our youth. Our mission is to restore the Lost Arts and create the intergenerational connections that our society desperately needs. This is beautiful, vital work and it requires a space where the land itself teaches us how to be human again.

We’ve been busy at the back of the driveway, preparing the soil and the soul of this organization. Our goal is simple. We want to restore the spirit of this land to what it was 150 years ago, a place of gathering, utility, and shared purpose.

Lately there's been a lot of digital noise and back channel chatter about us being here. It’s a strange irony that in a culture that talks so much about kindness and community, the actual act of building something real can be met with fear instead of a conversation.

To set the record straight, we haven't even begun welcoming our patrons to the ranch yet. The shared driveway has clearly taken a beating from improper drainage and the snow and rain from this winter and spring. These are issues that existed long before we arrived. We aren't just here to use the land, we are here to steward it. That means eventually using our growth and grant funding to repair the very infrastructure we share, leaving the road better than we found it.

A large property like this has always required a village to maintain, whether it's family, friends, or the village we are building for our seniors.

The activity here is the heartbeat of a working ranch. An active, populated ranch isn't just a mission, it’s a safeguard. In a time where local properties are being targeted for theft, having a village on site means more eyes on the land and a safer environment for everyone on this road. Thieves look for quiet, desolate properties where they won't be seen. They don't target places where there is life and activity. We aren't throwing ragers, we are cultivating a legacy.

For those who value the view, we invite you to look closer at the vision. Our gates are always open to those who prefer a handshake over a group chat and progress over pretense. Let’s build something that actually matters.

Help Us Get Our Ranch Workshops Moving! 🛠️🌲

Rogue Valley Neighbors,

The mission is moving! Thanks to your incredible support, our first project engines are ready for our youth/senior mentorship programs.

Our "Fix-It" program is teaching the basics—spark, fuel, and compression.

We need those dusty items sitting in your shed or garage that just need a little "tinker time" to run again:

Small Engines: Generators, rototillers, ATVs, and lawnmowers.

The Gear: Toolboxes, workbenches, and basic mechanic tools (sockets, wrenches, etc.).

The "Barn & Garage" Assist
A core part of our mission is supporting our local seniors. If you are feeling overwhelmed by a barn or garage full of "stuff," or if you have items you'd like to donate but need help organizing the space to get to them—we are here for you. Our board member and professional organizer, Allia Diane Rose , is leading our "Barn Sweep" volunteer teams. We would love to bring a small team to assist you for a few hours of organizing and cleaning.

What else do we take?
We are also gathering gear for our fishing, camping, gardening, and arts & crafts programs, as well as folding tables for our workshops. Anything we can't use directly will go toward our first Community Rummage Sale to fund our non-profit's pilot programs!

The Command Center:
We are still seeking one large, sturdy table to serve as our "Command Center" for board meetings, where we dream up ranch adventures and host community game nights.

Help us bridge the gap between generations. Let's turn "old gear" into new skills and lifelong connections.

Comment below or DM to coordinate a pickup or a "Barn Sweep" visit!

Seeking Community Partners for Bucket List Adventures NW

Help Us Turn "Old Gear" into "New Skills" at Our Dead Indian Memorial Ranch HQ! 🌲🚜

Hello Rogue Valley neighbors!

We are Bucket List Adventures NW, a non-profit dedicated to bridging the gap between generations. We’ve just been given the incredible opportunity to establish our headquarters on 140 acres off Dead Indian Memorial Rd, and spring is officially here!

Our mission is simple: We bring seniors and youth together to combat social isolation through outdoor adventure, ranch life, and hands-on "old school" skills.

The "Clean-Up" Call:
We have our founding partners visiting on April 18th, and we want to show them just how much this community cares.
We are looking for volunteers for a "Ranch Tidy-Up" over the next week—w**d eating, organizing, and getting the space ready for our pilot programs.

The "Shed & Garage" Request:
In a world that often throws things away, we want to teach the next generation how to fix and maintain.
We are looking for donations.
Items you might have sitting in your garage, shed, or closet that haven't seen the light of day in years:

Outdoor Gear: Old kayaks, mountain bikes, fishing poles, and camping gear.

The "Fix-It" Program: Do you have a broken-down ATV, lawnmower, or small engine? Our senior mentors would love to teach a child the mechanics of bringing it back to life to be used for our programs.

Ranch Essentials: Folding tables, gardening tools, ranch gear and barbecues/griddles etc.

Off-Grid Power: Since we are 100% off-grid, we are always seeking generators, solar panels, and batteries to power our educational workshops.

Why it matters: Your "dusty gear" becomes a therapeutic tool for an animal, a transport for a senior to a meadow campsite, or a lesson in mechanics for a local kid. Every donation goes directly into our public benefit programs.

Want to help or donate? Please comment below or send us a DM! Let’s build something awesome for our kids and seniors right here in the valley.

Looks like someone is excited! 🐎💨

We can barely keep our feet on the ground with all the incredible support flowing into Bucket List Adventures NW.

We are moving fast to keep up with some massive new developments in our journey to bridge the gap between generations right here in Southern Oregon. Whether it's the wisdom of our elders, the fire of our youth, or the magic that happens when they team up—something special is taking root at the ranch.

The best way to support our mission right now is to tag 3 friends in the comments who are ready for adventure and connection. Tag the mentors, the explorers, and the community-builders in your life!

Stay tuned. We have a major announcement coming that you won’t want to miss!

Total transparency here: Bucket List Adventures NW launched just 3 weeks ago and the response has been an absolute explosion.

The speed at which this is growing is proof of how much our community has been thirsting for real connection.

We are building the infrastructure in real-time to match this momentum. We aren't a legacy organization stuck in old ways; we are a lean, high-impact mission that is scaling right now to ensure no senior is left behind.

I’ll be honest—I thought I was going to be taking seniors fishing, and then I had an epiphany. I was flooded with so many other angles to help the community and enrich the lives of others.

That's what this is about: Life Enrichment.

This is for that old man who wants to chat after a Craigslist deal because that’s the only interaction he's had all month. This is for all the seniors who were left behind even with good intentions. There is a real thirst for connection out here.

It’s still evolving and I’m letting it all digest, but I can feel my grandfather behind this.
He used to say, "You just have to hit it out of the park once, just keep swinging." He was holding the bat so I could hit it out of the park.

Stay tuned. We're just getting started. ⚾️🚀

📢 THE ANNOUNCEMENT: A New Home for Adventure & Connection! 📢

We are thrilled to officially announce that The Hollows Ranch LLC in Ashland, Oregon, has become the flagship headquarters and primary stewardship site for Bucket List Adventures NW!

This partnership is the foundation that allows us to scale our mission and begin applying for the state and federal grants needed to serve our community at the highest level.

🏡 More Than a Ranch—It’s our "Adventure HQ"
The Hollows Ranch provides the vital infrastructure to store the equipment that fuels our mission—from our kayaks, rafts, and fishing gear for the Adventure Arts to the tools and materials needed for our Lemonade Bridge safety repairs for local elders.

🌟 Launching Our Six Pillars
With this new home, we are activating our "High School Elective" style workshops for the community:

🌿 The Harvest (Horticulture): Seedling workshops and natural home remedy crafting.

🔨 The Forge (Industrial Arts): Woodshop, mechanics, and our Intergenerational RC Car Engineering track.

🧶 The Hearth (Home Economics): "Kitchen Chemistry," canning, and textile arts.

🐴 Nature & Nurture (The Corral): Our therapeutic animal connection and local petting zoo partnership.

🚤 The Adventure Arts: This is our hub for kayaks, rafts, and life jackets as we prepare to take our seniors and youth out onto our local lakes and group fishing trips.

🎲 The Village Fire: The heart of the ranch where we’ll host game tournaments, community paint nights, and live music under the stars.

🍋 The Lemonade Bridge Starts Here
This site serves as our operational base for the Lemonade Program. We store the equipment here to execute wellness check-ins and safety repairs—like ramps and fire-hazard brush clearing—for our seniors. We identify the need, secure the funding, and restore the connection
🙏 A Special Thank You
To The Hollows Ranch LLC: Thank you for your incredible vision and for opening your gates to the seniors, youth, and families of our valley. We are laying the tracks for a legacy of stewardship together.

🤝 Seeking Founding Partners
Are you a local business owner or tradesperson who wants to anchor a legacy in the Rogue Valley? We are officially opening a limited number of Founding Partner Packages.

This isn't just a donation—it’s a strategic partnership. Becoming a Founding Partner grants your business:

✅ Priority Status: First-look access to our upcoming grant-funded stewardship projects (The Priority Clause).

✅ The Mobile Billboard: High-visibility branding on our primary Tool Trailer.

✅ Co-Branded Outreach: Your business name in our 'Lemonade Bridge' senior safety brochures and cards.

✅ Permanent Recognition: A place on our physical 'Founding Wall' at our future headquarters.

We are looking for the 'Founders' who want to be the backbone of this movement. Want to see the full Strategic Guide and Benefit Tiers? Comment "PARTNER" below or shoot us a DM to receive our Founding Partner Strategic Guide. Let's build this legacy together! 🌲🏔️🌲

JOIN THE ADVENTURE: FOR VOLUNTEERS 🚣‍♂️
Not a job. An experience.
We aren't looking for "workers"—we’re looking for Village Partners. Our mission is to make serving our community as rewarding for the volunteer as it is for the senior. We believe that when you show up for others, you're also showing up for yourself.

The Volunteer Advantage:
Access to the "Adventure Library": As we grow, our volunteers will have access to our community gear—from fishing poles and RC cars to the tools in "The Forge."

Skill Sharing: Learn "Lost Arts" directly from the masters of the craft (our seniors).

Genuine Connection: Experience the deep fulfillment that comes from a "Lemonade Visit" and a job well done.

JOIN THE WAITLIST
We are currently in the Pilot Phase and are building our first "Village Crew." Whether you’re a tradesperson, a student, a gardener, or just someone who wants to sit and listen, we want you on our list.
