Please Welcome Our New Kindness Coordinator! 💜🦋

We’re so excited to welcome Cyndi to the CJ’s Thumbs Up Foundation team as our new Kindness Coordinator!

Cyndi will be helping with our Meal Fairies program at UVA Health Children’s, delivering weekly meals directly to families with hospitalized children. We’re so grateful to have her helping us bring a little extra kindness and comfort to families when they need it most. 💜

11 Years of Kindness at UVA Health Children’s! 💜🦋

This month, we’re celebrating 11 years of Meal Fairies at UVA Health Children’s!

For 11 years, our Director of Programs and CJ’s Daddy, Roger, has delivered meals to families at UVA! In his role delivering meals at the hospital, Roger is required to be a registered volunteer. This work has always been a team effort, made possible by dedicated volunteers, meal providers, donors, hospital partners, and supporters.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of the Meal Fairies journey over the past 11 years. Together, you’ve helped bring comfort, connection, and kindness to countless families during some of their hardest days. 💜

Every hour makes a difference. 💜

So far this year, 54 incredible volunteers have given 234 hours to support families with hospitalized children. From preparing meals to lending a hand at events and helping behind the scenes, every hour of kindness helps us continue our mission.
